A Symbol of our Unity
Of course the EU is not a state is not going to become a state never intended to be a state, the EU is no more than a club we all happily joined so that we can share our futures together. Of course we all still are citizens of our own nation state, and proudly carry our nations flag in to the arena to fight for our nations place in the world.
But wait what is this I hear could it be the sound of pigs flapping their wings in preparation for a celebratory flight of this non-states success at the Olympics, which according to Mr Prodi`s spokesman swept the floor at the Olympics, out performing every other non-state in the world.
But the best is yet to come, no really! At the next Olympic Games in Beijing, our revered leader Mr Prodi would like all 25 member states to compete under the EU flag, as a symbol of our unity. Oh dear!
