Of course it is a sad and damming comment on the whole EU system that one small interest group of Irish Farmers can hold such power over the outcome of the Lisbon treaty that will affect over 500 million people. It is indicative of the whole antidemocratic system that the only thing standing between the EU plans for the destruction of 27 nation states is the Irish Constitution
