Do not tell the Irish

The commission is not expected to mention the New EU council president’s salary in its first budget draft for fear of upsetting the current ratification process of the EU treaty - particularly in Ireland which is to have a referendum.

Does it not strike anyone just how dishonest and manipulative this sort of thing is?

I would vote against the Lisbon treaty on principal, if they cannot be open and honest then they must have something to hide and would I urge all Irish people to do the same.

It should also be noted that the Propaganda Minister has denied there were any discussions about the perks and benefits of the President of the Council! Anther lie it would seem.

“Ken Adams - Margot has never heard of any discussions about planes or palaces anywhere, including at the dinner.”
