English Claim of Rights.

I am British I was raised and educated as British and until very recently I never considered myself as anything else but British. When Our Present Prime minister was first elected to power I was so inured to being British that I did not even notice that he was Scottish, it was totally immaterial to me.

It was oddly a Scottish politician who first pointed out that the plans for a Scottish Parliament would create an imbalance in our Contusion, and would produce two types of MPs; those who were accountable to their constituents and those who were not, this would be difficult to tolerate.

We now have a Scottish Prime Minister who in 1995 signed the Scottish Claim of Rights, vowing to put Scotland and the Scottish people above all, he is supported by a mainly Scottish Cabinet and a Scottish Speaker of the Commons their answer to the West Lothian Question is to divide England into nine separate political parts. The opposition answer to the imbalance in our Constitution created by the Scots in our government is to allow the English to debate English matters in committee these would then be voted in the full house including the Scottish MPs who will not be responsible to us for their vote and their votes will affect their own countrymen.

This is supposed to be because an English Parliament would destroy the United Kingdom! To those who would argue this I will say clearly for all to understand “No” it is the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly which is destroying the United Kingdom. It was the Scots who forced this on us and now they are accusing us of trying to destroy our country.

This is not something that I am prepared to accept on top of being forced to become a citizen of a corrupt anti-democratic unaccountable embryo state of the European Union by the same two political parties they now expect me to be willing to remain a second class citizen in my own country.

It deeply saddens me and angers me to be forced into a position where I must chooses between being British and accepting that as far as my government and the main opposition to that government are concerned, being British and living in England means being forced to become a second class citizen.

This is why I have today signed the English Claim of Rights demanding equal rights for English people within the British Constitution.

And I say to all politicians; you do not defend the British state by creating an unfair constitutional settlement and then trying to defend the indefensible, by destroying one of the kingdoms of Britain, or by making the citizens of Britain who live in England second class citizens. You have by your own actions already created two classes of MPs; those who are accountable to the voters and those who are not, but much worse than that you have also created two classes of citizens of this country.

Please sign the English Claim of Rights.
