The EU will become a state with all the aspects of a regular state. will reduce them to regions or provinces.
The EU constitution will stand above the national constitutions of the member states.
The term constitutional agreement is not precise and will have only temporary validity. replacing it with a new type of sovereignty, an all-European sovereignty
Citizens of EU member states will become EU citizens with rights and duties coming straight from this European state
Member states will only be able to use the authority left to them by the constitution and not the other way around,
The EU and not its member states will have the ultimate authority to seal most international agreements with other countries.
The constitutional agreement reduces the voting power of smaller member states
The EU is able to widen its authority by the ‘flexibility clause’ or ‘bridging clause.’”
